Create a Klaviyo automation

In this article, we show you how to create an automation with Klaviyo. It's a two-step process:

1. connect Klaviyo to your Funnelish account, and then

2. create a Funnelish automation

This article shows you how to complete Step 2.

We showed you how to complete Step 1 in a different article.

Create an automation

1. Log in to your Funnelish account.

2. Open a funnel.

3. Click the Funnel automations icon.

Click Funnel automations

Define the trigger

1. Click the Create a new automation button.

2. In the new window, click Start from scratch and then Create.

3. On the New automation canvas, click Add new trigger.

4. In the popup window, select an event and then Create. In this example, we choose On Purchase.

Choose one event to trigger the automation.

Refine the options

1. Click the Trigger on field and select one or more funnel steps. In this example, we choose All steps.

2. Click Create.

3. Back on the canvas, click the Plus button to add action.

4. On the new window, click Integration and then Klaviyo.

5. Click the Action field and choose an option: Add to list or Remove from list.

You could remove someone from your follow-up sequence once they purchase your product.

6. Click the List field and choose a name.

7. Click the Tag field and add a tag. (optional)

8. Click the Add button.

You’re done. Now you can trigger new automations in each individual funnel.

Use the customer optin email (optional)

You can use the customer's optin email instead of the email address they use to pay.

If you have an optin page and want to use that address as their subscriber email in Klaviyo, switch this toggle to the On position. If the two emails are the same, no change is made.
