Triggers
Let's trigger some automations!

In this article we'll be going over how to start funnel automations using any of our 6 triggers and what each trigger means!

To access your triggers head to your funnel automations in a funnel, create an automation, and select Add new trigger.

On Purchase:

To trigger an automation on a new purchase, select On Purchase as your Start Trigger.
Choose if you want to run the automation only once per customer, even if they go through your funnel more than once.
Then select if you want the automation to trigger when the purchase happens on any step of your funnel, or just specific ones by selecting the page from the dropdown.
Select Create and then you can start adding actions to your automation!

On Optin:

To trigger an automation on a new funnel optin, select Optin as your Start Trigger.
Choose if you want to run the automation only once per customer, even if they go through your funnel more than once.
Then select if you want the automation to trigger when the optin happens on any step of your funnel, or just specific ones by selecting the page from the dropdown.
Select Create and then you can start adding actions to your automation!

On Refund:

To trigger an automation on a new refund, select On Refund as your Start Trigger.
Choose if you want to run the automation only once per customer, even if they go through your funnel more than once.
Then select if you want the automation to trigger when the refund happens on any step of your funnel, or just specific ones by selecting the page from the dropdown.
Select Create and then you can start adding actions to your automation!

Purchase Attempt:

To trigger an automation on a new purchase attempt, select Purchase attempt as your Start Trigger.
Choose if you want to run the automation only once per customer, even if they go through your funnel more than once.
Then select if you want the automation to trigger when the purchase attempt happens on any step of your funnel, or just specific ones by selecting the page from the dropdown.
Select Create and then you can start adding actions to your automation!

New Subscription:

To trigger an automation on a new subscription, select New subscription as your Start Trigger.
Choose if you want to run the automation only once per customer, even if they go through your funnel more than once.
Then select if you want the automation to trigger when the subscription happens on any step of your funnel, or just specific ones by selecting the page from the dropdown.
Select Create and then you can start adding actions to your automation!

Subscription Canceled:

To trigger an automation on a new canceled subscription, select Subscription canceled as your Start Trigger.
Choose if you want to run the automation only once per customer, even if they go through your funnel more than once.
Then select if you want the automation to trigger when the cancellation happens on any step of your funnel, or just specific ones by selecting the page from the dropdown.
Select Create and then you can start adding actions to your automation!
