SEPA Direct Debit
Add SEPA as a payment processing method to your funnel.
After you have created a gateway, you can use it again on any number of funnels.
Before you start
Make sure you:
Enable Funnelish Pay, before you try adding a payment gateway.
Add a payment form to a funnel step.
Have an active Stripe account.
SEPA Direct Debit only processes payments in euros.
After you have created a gateway, you can use it again on any number of funnels.
Create a gateway
Open a funnel step.
Click the payment form field.
In the left settings panel, click Edit payment options.
Click Add a new payment method.
In the pop-up window, click SEPA Direct Debit.
Click Add New SEPA Gateway. A new window displays.
Connect
On the New gateway window:
Enter a unique Gateway name. This name is for internal use, it is not visible in the funnel.
Click the Connect button. The app opens Stripe in a new tab.
Log in and connect to a Stripe account or create a new one.
Select the newly created payment method on the list.
Click Save changes.
Updating your Stripe account
The final step requires some customizations on your Stripe account.
Log in to your Stripe account.
Click the Settings gear in the top right corner.
Click Payment methods on the Product settings page.
Scroll down to Bank debits heading.
Locate SEPA Direct Debit.
Click the Turn On button. Stripe changes the button to a green checkmark.
Stripe displays a message about webhooks. Read the terms and if you agree, click Request access to enable SEPA Direct Debit.
Stripe may ask for additional information before enabling the service, such as identity verification. Click the Provide info button and follow the steps to activate this payment method.
